Make Like Wesley…

If there is one thing I enjoy, it’s having a gamble.  There is something quite exhilarating in putting a few pounds on a horse, a dog, a football team, your favourite number or just choosing between odd and even or red and black.

Ugly Shmugly

So, this morning as I was writing a blog over on omneo.co.uk about WordPress themes I happened to view this blog in Internet Explorer, boy was I shocked… It’s UGLY!  By that I mean the sidebar has all these ugly bullet points and shit and doesn’t align well and it’s well it’s just plain… UGLY!

Drift In To Me

Regular readers, if there is such a beast, will know that I like to use the website belonging to last.fm, well actually I think it now belongs to Columbia Records or some other multi-national conglomerate but whatever, the site is still pretty spiffy.

will you see me?

This is just a test to see if the damned scheduling thing will work…

If you can see this entry then Hooray! it’s works, if not… I’m talking to myself, again!

UPDATE

well, it seems like it’s finally working, only taken till 10pm… those ten minutes were about the length of a London Underground minute it seems but it works, finally.  Funny how I’ve managed to last the last couple of years without realising it didn’t work.  Now it just remains to be seen how often I actually make use of it!

Sadly all my plans for Friday have gone out the window, like go to the shop and buy milk so I can have a nice cup of tea, looks like I’m going to have to settle for vodka tonight…it’s a hard life ;)

To schedule or not, why is that even a question?

Now, to everyone, including myself, the title of this entry would appear to make no sense and in a way, it doesn’t, like most of what I think and sometimes write about.  My mind is always shooting off on tangents so that what I’m actually thinking about will provoke a completely different thought and it’s usually that second thought I write about.

I say usually, this is not always the case. Take this entry for instance.  I do actually want to discuss scheduling but from a  purely selfish perspective.  The software I run this blog on has a feature called, wait for it….scheduling!
