A few entries prior to this one I mentioned the Eurostar sponsored Singles Little Break. The premise was simple, just detail either your worst date, your most romantic date or explain how you know it’s love.  I entered with a shortened version of my disastrous last encounter with Aurélie.  Guess who won a day trip to Paris?  Needless to say I am now as nervous as hell.  25 single guys and 25 single girls being taken to Paris for a day of fun and flirting probably has all the makings of a reality TV show…whether it would be a ratings winner is any-one’s guess.

Some people are cat people, some are dog people, some are both and of course some are neither. I do like cats and dogs but if I had to choose, I’d choose a cat. A lot of people think cats are aloof, snobbish, superior and a whole host of other terms, all of which I think are nonsense and this video that I’ve pinched from Lolly’s blog shows just how much fun you can have with your feline friends

So, regular readers will know all about Sellaband, the concept is simple. You have your unsigned bands who are desperate to get record deals or just get CDs out into the hands of the public because they are all convinced that their sound is the next big thing, if only they had the money to get an album out.  On the other side you have music fans who when they like a band can become scarily obsessive – think Mel from Flight of the Conchords!

For the past few weeks I’ve been working on some blog entries but I haven’t finished them.  I’m not sure if I ever will.  The first one was more a peek inside my head as I tried to describe a thought I had whilst sitting in the garden one night.  Every time I read over it to try and edit it I’m left thinking, Wow! Did I really think this shit up myself?! A few colleagues at work would no doubt have a lot to say for my psyche if they read it, maybe I will post it one day!
