There is, it has to be said, a time and a place for everything and lately, for me, blogging has not been high on my list of things to do today/this week/anytime soon. Please don’t ask for reasons why as the truth is I can’t think of one. What I do know is that the thought of blogging has just left me feeling Blah! of late.
When I find myself in moments like this I usually retreat from the computer and find something else to kill time. On this occasion I didn’t reject the computer totally, instead I honed in on one website, the one that would take me to Echo Bazaar! Fiendishly addictive, I feel cheated if I don’t get to exhaust my daily supply of actions.
Other than that, not much else has happened that is worth reporting on so instead of me waffling on here are three tracks that should hopefully chill you out a little. Enjoy!

I’ve always loved Talvin Singh :) Good local boy, he is!
Yes, because I had builders working at home I had to clear the room which required taking down from the wall all the CDs I’ve been hoarding. I remember years ago vowing to burn each one and giving up after maybe 20 or 30 had been done.
Jeez there were some old memories that came back looking through them. I found a stack of Bangra CDs from when I lived on Green Street as well as a collection of old saxophone jazz CDs I bought when i first bought my saxophone and then couldn’t listen to them because they made me so frustrated that I was so rubbish.
Thankfully now I listen to them with my old ears again and enjoy them for the music as opposed to thinking I had to be able to play the same way, yesterday. And yes, in amongst them was a Talvin Singh CD or two…good shit.
